Sam Seawright wraps up Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series with third-place points finish

For the final weekend of competition with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series, Sam Seawright and the Troy Baird Racing team checked into I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) on Friday afternoon for Championship Weekend.

Finishing 13th in the $10,000-to-win opener, Seawright found a little more speed in Saturday's finale where he would score a Top-10 outing in ninth. The finishes secured Sam a third-place finish in the HTFSDS point standings which earns him a $15,000 payday.

Taking part in the second-half of the National 100 weekend, Seawright jumped down to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) for the $30,000-to-win XR Super Series show. Sam started 14th in the 100-lap feature and pulled off early to record a 22nd-place DNF.
