Seawright 11th in Alabama Gang 100 with World of Outlaws

Bringing his newly-designed Mach X Chassis to its first national touring event, Sam Seawright joined the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) for the Alabama Gang 100.

Losing Friday's $12,000-to-win opener to rain showers, Seawright focused on Saturday's finale where he qualified seventh-fastest in his stacked group and raced to a third-place finish in his heat race. Starting 10th on the grid for the $50,000-to-win main event, Sam recorded an 11th-place in the 100 lapper.
