Seawright eighth in Southern Showcase finale at Swainsboro Raceway
Joining the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series for their points finale, Sam Seawright unloaded at Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway for the first round of the two-day Southern Showcase.
With 33 Late Models in the pit area, Sam grabbed the final transfer spot in his heat race before recording a 16th-place finish in the short 30-lap feature.
With the field elevated to 34 Super Late Models on Saturday, Seawright earned a fifth row starting position after a third-place outing in his heat. For the $23,000-to-win showdown, Sam ran as high as sixth but settled for a eighth-place finish after 60-laps.
