Sam Seawright locked into Alabama Gang 100 at Talladega Short Track
With the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series in town, Sam Seawright was one of 48 entries at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) for the Alabama Gang 100.
Qualifying fifth-fastest in his group, Seawright started the $4,000-to-win preliminary feature from the third-row. With the Top-3 automatically transferring to Saturday's feature, Sam quickly made his way to the third-position when the feature was called early due to impending rain.
Locked into the $35,000-to-win Alabama Gang 100, Seawright was rolling out to line up for the feature when a heavy rain shower engulfed the racetrack. The event was postponed to September 15th.
