Seawright lands podium finish in Red Farmer Tribute at Talladega Short Track
Looking for another strong run at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) over the weekend, Sam Seawright and the Troy Baird Racing team followed the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to Alabama for their second-to-last weekend of the season.
Racing to an eighth-place finish in Friday's $5,038-to-win opener, Seawright started seventh in the $15,097-to-win finale on Saturday and made his way onto the podium in third. He trailed Zack Mitchell and Cory Hedgecock while Dale McDowell and Michael Page completed the Top-5.
Seawright currently sits third in the series point standings.
