Podium finish in The Gobbler at Duck River Raceway Park

Capping off his season over the weekend, Sam Seawright checked into Duck River Raceway Park (Shelbyville, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon for the 36th-annual Gobbler.

With 32 Super Late Models on hand, Seawright clocked in second-fastest in his qualifying group which placed him on the second-row for the 40-lap feature. Putting on a show with Tanner English and Oakley Johns, Seawright ultimately settled for third-place finish in the $6,000-to-win main event.
