Seawright grabs podium finish with Southern Nationals at Senoia Raceway
Participating in three events during the second week of the mini-tour, Sam Seawright joined a 31-car field at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) on Monday afternoon for the $7,552-to-win Scott Sexton Memorial.
Laying down the second-fastest lap in his qualifying group, Seawright started from the second-row and rounded out the Top-5 in fifth.
Rejoining the tour in the state of Georgia on Thursday and Friday, Sam went back and forth with Ashton Winger at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway and settled for a runner-up finish before wrapping up at Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway where he recorded an eighth-place finish.
