Sam Seawright attends Casey Barrow Memorial at Screven Motor Speedway

After mechanical issues with the team's transporter kept him closer to home, Sam Seawright checked into Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) on Saturday afternoon for the Casey Barrow Memorial with the Ultimate Southeast Series.

Seawright set quicktime among 27 Super Late Models and started on the pole of the $10,098-to-win feature. Sam led the first 25 circuits and traded slidejobs for the lead before contact with the outside wall forced him to pull in. He was credited with an 18th-place finish.
